Support from students for students
The interest group (IG) for our field of study advocates for the concerns and interests of students at the institute. Unlike the student council (StV), we are not an elected ÖH committee, but have organized ourselves to actively contribute to improving everyday student life and to create a point of contact for students.
Our most important task is to support you with any questions, concerns, or problems you may have regarding your studies. You can reach us at any time by email, Instagram, or Facebook—or simply talk to us directly at the institute. We are also happy to arrange personal consultation appointments and will do our best to help!
We regularly share information and news about events, courses, and other study-related topics via our mailing list and our Signal group. Click here to subscribe to the newsletter and here to join the Signal group.
4students - Study Info Service is the first point of contact for all students and prospective students at the University of Graz. As an information hub for questions about and around studying, 4students offers individual advice and information for all those seeking advice via telephone, e-mail, Skype, study portal and in person. 4students represents the university at school visits and trade fair appearances, produces study-related and target group-specific printed materials and newsletters. Projects such as the online self-assessment for prospective students, peer mentoring for the first in the family to go to university or the orientation tutorial for first-year students are also part of the remit. Another focus is the organization of target group-specific events such as the Open Day or Welcome Day. 4students emphasizes target group-oriented communication through tutorials and the use of social media.
