Support from students for students
Student Representation (StV+) European Ethnology/Cultural Anthropology Uni Graz
The Student Representation (StV+) of a department or discipline is part of the Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH). Its purpose is to ensure student participation in the university system. There are three elected student representatives. These are elected by you every two years (last election: 2023) as part of the ÖH elections.
Our most important task is to help you with any questions and problems. You can contact us by email, Instagram and Facebook or simply approach us at the institute. We are also happy to arrange personal consultation appointments. There is also a mailing list through which information is shared: Newsletter registration via the StV+ website
4students - Study Info Service
4students - Study Info Service is the first point of contact for all students and prospective students at the University of Graz. As an information hub for questions about and around studying, 4students offers individual advice and information for all those seeking advice via telephone, e-mail, Skype, study portal and in person. 4students represents the university at school visits and trade fair appearances, produces study-related and target group-specific printed materials and newsletters. Projects such as the online self-assessment for prospective students, peer mentoring for the first in the family to go to university or the orientation tutorial for first-year students are also part of the remit. Another focus is the organization of target group-specific events such as the Open Day or Welcome Day. 4students emphasizes target group-oriented communication through tutorials and the use of social media.
