WORKSHOP FÜR MA-STUDIERENDE DER GEWI-FAKULTÄT

Die TeilnehmerInnen des Workshops werden die Möglichkeit haben, das Thema sowie die Fragestellung ihrer MA-Arbeiten zu präsentieren und sie zur offenen Diskussion mit anderen KollegInnen zu stellen. Es sind StudentInnen der GEWI-Fakultät, die aktuell an einer Masterarbeit schreiben, herzlich eingeladen, sich anzumelden. In Frage kommen alle sprach-, literatur- und kulturwissenschaftliche Themen. Die Präsentationen können in deutscher oder in englischer Sprache gehalten werden und sollten zwischen 5 und 15 Minuten dauern.

Bitte erwähnen Sie in Ihrer Anmeldung das Thema ihrer MA-Arbeit sowie das Institut/Zentrum, an dem die Arbeit verfasst wird, und senden diese bis 28. FEBRUAR 2019 an hannes.fromm(at)uni-graz.at und goran.lazicic(at)uni-graz.at.

WRITING YOUR THESIS: WORKSHOP FOR MA STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES

Hosted by: MMAg. Hannes Fromm (Institute of English Studies) and Goran Lazicic, MA (Institute of Slavic Studies)

Participants of this workshop are invited to present the topic of their MA thesis as well as their research questions to the hosts and a small audience of fellow MA students. The goal of this workshop is to openly discuss topics and methodological approaches and provide the presenters with constructive and useful feedback for their writing process.

Students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities who currently work on their MA thesis are welcome to sign up for this workshop. Due to the areas of expertise of the organizers, the focal points of the workshop will be topics within the areas of linguistics, literary studies and cultural studies.

Presentations can be given either in German or in English and should take between 5 and 15 minutes. To sign up for the workshop, please send an E-Mail mentioning your topic and your research area (as well as the corresponding Institute/Center at the University) to hannes.fromm(at)uni-graz.at and goran.lazicic(at)uni-graz.at by February 28th 2019.
