In order to be able to enrol in a regular degree program at a university, you need to have passed the school-leaving examination (Matura) at a secondary school. This provides a university entrance qualification for a single course of study (in some cases for a few closely related courses).

- The university entrance qualification examination can only be taken for degree programs offered at the University of Graz.
- It is not possible to take partial examinations for university of applied sciences degree programs at the university!
